Sugiono, the newly appointed Secretary-General of the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) for the 2025–2030 term, expressed his gratitude to his predecessor, Ahmad Muzani, who served in the position for 17 years. At Garuda Yaksa Padepokan, Sugiono conveyed the party’s deep appreciation to Muzani for his significant contributions to Gerindra, especially in leading Prabowo Subianto to the presidency. He acknowledged Muzani’s dedication and responsibility in establishing and growing the party, as well as his role in Prabowo Subianto’s presidential journey. Sugiono also credited Prof. Dr. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad for his instrumental role in the party’s development and thanked all party cadres for their support. Emphasizing the importance of unity and solidarity within the party, he called for strengthening the bonds of brotherhood to support Prabowo Subianto’s leadership in creating a just and prosperous Indonesia. The newly announced Gerindra Central Executive Board (DPP) for the 2025–2030 period includes Prabowo Subianto as Chairman, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad as Executive Chairman, Sugiono as Secretary-General, and Satrio Dimas Adityo as Treasurer-General.
