President Prabowo Subianto has announced that a total of 352 TNI soldiers will take part in the military parade commemorating the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India in New Delhi on January 26, 2025. This announcement was made prior to his departure to India from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase in Jakarta on Thursday afternoon. Indonesia is honored and pleased to receive the invitation from the Indian government, allowing Indonesian troops, including Akmil cadets, to be part of the front row in India’s anniversary parade. The Indonesian contingent will include 352 TNI soldiers and cadets from the military academy. President Prabowo is set to hold meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss various aspects of bilateral cooperation, including the signing of an MoU on collaboration in domains such as health, culture, security, maritime safety, and technology. Furthermore, discussions with Indian entrepreneurs interested in investing in Indonesia are also scheduled during his visit.
